Module 1 is right for you if you want to approach your job search with clarity, focus and confidence.  With the aid of lots of activities and templates, you'll be able to determine what's really important to you about a job and career, draw up a list of organisations you would like to work for, communicate your key skills and attributes to potential employers, network effectively and plan, track and monitor your job search.

Module 2 helps you to make the best use of your time when applying for jobs, by guiding you to apply only for positions that match your skills, experience and talents. But knowing which opportunities to pursue can be tricky.

• How do you evaluate job adverts to determine what information is important and what isn't?
• Should you apply for as many positions as possible or would a more selective approach yield better results? 
• How can you be confident that your skills, abilities and background align well with a job posting?
• And what is the secret to ensuring recruiters view your application favourably?

Lots of time can be wasted when we apply for the wrong jobs. This module will give you a method for quickly assessing multiple job advertisements and choosing the most appropriate positions to apply for, that are in line with your 'job search goal' and your needs, wants and values.

Our activities will teach you how to describe and match your own skills and talent profile to a job profile. Learning how to identify and then build your application around the most important aspects of a job vacancy, will also be covered. And you'll understand why and how to research organisations prior to applying for a job and learn about the methods and criteria recruiters use to assess job applications - thus increasing your chances of getting noticed and shortlisted for interviews.

At the end of the module, you'll be adept at matching what you have to offer recruiters to what they've asked for within their advertised job requirements, increasing your success rate for interview invitations. 

Module 2 is right for you if you want to save time by learning how to efficiently assess job advertisements, match your skills, attributes and achievements to job details and understand the various methods recruiters use to assess and shortlist job applications, thereby increasing your chance of gaining that all-important interview.

Module 3 is all about the application with the objective of helping you secure an interview. You’ll learn how to create winning CVs, covering letters and applications, with tips and hints on:

• How long each document should be.
• How much of your work experience should be included?
• What's the best structure for the greatest impact?
• And how to make your application stand out from the crowd.

With the help of activities and sample documents you can use as a guide, you’ll learn how to create a dynamic and impactful personal profile statement. We'll focus on the language of achievements when it comes to selling your attributes to potential employers, and you'll identify your own achievements for inclusion in covering letters, CVs and application forms. 

Application Tracking Systems (ATS) will be explored, an important tool used by many organisations to collect and store applications. What they are, how they process documentation and how to match and tailor your paperwork to ensure the ATS works for you.  Our session on how to complete application forms includes advice on how to answer questions - including competency-based questions – and the benefits of using a reviewer to appraise your documents prior to submission.

At the end of the module, you'll be confident in your ability to complete applications, exercises and psychometric tests with ease.

Module 3 is right for you if you want to improve your job applications and gain more interviews.   You’ll learn how to produce first class CVs, covering letters and application forms, become accomplished at pre-interview tests, assessment and exercises – including psychometrics, and ensure your documentation doesn’t fall foul of applicant tracking systems.

 Module 4 is about performing well at interviews and securing the job you really want, at a salary package that’s right for you.  Interviews and how they’re conducted can vary greatly: from telephone, face-to-face or video interviews to more complex selection processes encompassing multiple interviews, psychometric tests and assessment days. Performing well at interviews is a skill – one you will learn in this module, including:

• How to prepare for any type of interview, whether online or a face-to-face interview with one or many people.
• What happens if you freeze during an interview, test or exercise?
• How to answer any interview question, including competency-based questions.
• And how to keep nerves at bay, answering questions with confidence, clarity and control.

With insights, guidance and tips & hints on how to perform well at interviews and tests, we also help you navigate the complexity of assessment days and how to perform at your best whilst being observed, assessed and rated in one-to-one and group settings. The ubiquitous interview presentation will be covered: what to expect, how to prepare for it and how to perform at your best. And when you've been offered a job, you can use our tried and tested 6-stage negotiating process, to help you gain the best possible salary & benefits package. 

At the end of the module, you'll have the skills and expertise to deal with anything an interview process throws at you.

Module 4 is right for you if you want to succeed at the interview. We can help increase your confidence in interview situations, ensuring you sell yourself and your attributes, answering questions with ease and securing the job of your dreams.  And when you’ve received a job offer, you can employ the tactics within the module to negotiate the best possible salary & benefits package.

The programme is self-paced and delivered via a set of pre-recorded video presentations with expert content and detailed explanations and guidance.  

Alongside this, are templates, forms and activities to enable you to apply the advice and guidance included in the online programme, as you work through the sessions. For example, the material will help you to prepare for a range of situations, including:- deciding which jobs to apply for, completing job applications, promoting yourself on social media, writing a CV, tackling psychometric tests, preparing for a range of interviews, answering interview questions and negotiating your salary package. 

An internet connection is required to access the online programme, either via a pc, laptop, tablet or phone.

Each of the four modules is split into two parts, with three sessions in each part, plus an introductory session. 

The sessions vary in duration - some are quite short, while others, such as the session about 'how to write a CV', are longer.   

However, on average, a session lasts about 12 minutes, depending on how quickly you work through the video material and accompanying activities.   

The workbook is a combination of activities, illustrated examples, templates and forms you can learn from and apply to your own job search process. 

A blank version of each activity and template can be downloaded in Word format, as you follow along with the online training videos.  

A PDF version of the entire suite of forms and activities is available to download on completion of each module. 

You have access to the programme for 12 months, from the date of purchase.  You can start the programme whenever is convenient for you and can watch the pre-recorded videos as often as you like, within a 12 month period.

Online learning, also known as e-learning, is learning that happens over the internet.  Face-to-face learning – often associated with a classroom setting – is where the facilitator (also commonly known as a teacher, tutor, trainer and lecturer) is in the same room as the learner.

In face-to-face learning, the learning material is delivered in a range of ways, including: delivery of presentation slides, group discussion, demonstrations, question and answer sessions, brainstorming, exercises, role plays, etc.  The interaction is instantaneous and interactive; between the facilitator and the learner, and the individual learner and the group.

With online learning, the learning material is usually delivered via pre-recorded slides using audio and/or video.  The learning material, including presentation notes, activities, worksheets, etc. is accessed over the internet and at a time and pace to suit the learner.
